Label Tech win Irish Print Award
Label Tech for the second year in a row have won a major award at the Irish Print Awards 2015, scooping Self Adhesive Digital Roll Printer of the year. The award winning label was for ‘Screaming Banshee’ a premium craft beer and showcased the very best of digital technologies available to our customers at Label Tech today. The label was printed on craft paper and embossed and hot foiled with a bronze foil for maximum shelf impact. In addition to winning this award, Label Tech’s award winning label has been showcased by major international packaging publications and blogs in the US as exemplary standard labelling work. We’re very proud of everyone in Label Tech who made this award possible and we would like to thank all involved including the industry for their recognition.
Label Tech Invest in New Printing Units
Label Tech are delighted to inform all of our customers that we made a significant investment over the course of 2015 in two new printing machines. The HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press is the leading narrow-web printing solution for mainstream labels and packaging production, delivering breakthrough productivity, versatility, and intelligent colour automation. The press delivers the proven quality embraced by the world’s leading brands. In addition to this, the New Foil 5500 is a Hot Foil Printing, Embossing, Laminating and Die Cutting Machine designed to embellish and finish digital or short run flexographic work, the 5500 allows Label Tech to offer premium look and feel labels on any substrate for multiple industries and applications. These new investments have enabled Label Tech to offer clients a diverse range of quality print and finishing options. Long Service Award Scheme
Label Tech has introduced a ‘Long Service Award Scheme’ to recognise and reward the contribution of key employees to the growth and development of our company. Of a current workforce of 39, 20 employees are with the company for 5 years or more, with 5 more than 20 years, 5 more than 15 years and 6 more than 10 years.
