Label Tech has been named as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme. The company was recognised at an awards gala dinner in Dublin on 3 March 2017. The awards event in Dublin’s Convention Centre marked the ninth year of the Deloitte Best Managed Companies awards programme. The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme, recognises indigenous Irish companies across Ireland that are operating at the highest levels of business performance.
Commenting on the award, David Keogh, CEO, Label Tech said: “Label Tech are delighted to have received this award. To be one of only 16 companies chosen this year from 120 applicants is testimony to all of the hard work and dedication from the team at Label Tech. It is especially significant that Label Tech received this award as we celebrate our 25th year in business. We are especially grateful to all of our valued customers who have contributed towards this recognition by our business peers.” A total of 16 companies from around Ireland were awarded “Best Managed” status this year, following a detailed qualification and judging process.
This took into consideration the complete performance of the business, looking beyond the finances at criteria such as operational excellence, strategy and human resource processes. Managing Partner of Deloitte and judging panel member, Brendan Jennings commented: “Congratulations to all the 2017 winners.
All the companies who received the award are at the end of a long process of evaluation, which makes their Best Managed designation even more rewarding and valuable as a marketing tool for their business. It is clear that these companies make an invaluable contribution to the Irish economy – employing 60,000 people and generating turnover of €11bn.”
